Star Wars Trailer (New One Released - Page 7)

I hope the clips of John Boyega in the trailers are unfortunately chosen, as they're putting me off, pretty much every shot has him looking like a lost, little boy and looking at the cast list, it's a little weak imo.

I hope the story is strong, I've always been one of those fans who was only interested in Skywalker/Vader/Yoda, all the noise around the edges, and all the different bizarre looking aliens, don't appeal to me, but that's probably because once you've seen Alien, every other alien form you see is a bit naff. The silly bug-eyed ones in Star Wars just annoy me.

This is a purposeful action.

The original Star Wars had a very inexperienced cast aswell outside of Obi-Wan and Peter Cushing who were relatively small roles, and they didn't want "named actors" as they would be overshadowed by the new cast and the original trilogy lot coming back. This was one of the big things the prequels got wrong imo.

They should have left it at the original 3. I've tried watching some of the subsequent films a few times, but I just find them a bit "ho-hum", to be honest. Although Natalie Portman does scrub up rather well.

Even hardcore Star Wars fans think they were wank.
Surely George Lucas didn't need the money?

He used 'todays' technology to do the things he could never achieve in his first three, which probably explains the spring cleaning jobs later on on the said three. Problem was, he milked it.

P.S. Can you say on on?

I can understand what you're saying. But it just looks wrong, doesn't it? A bit like those prequels!

I couldn't remember why I thought Princess Leia was hot, cos she seemed a mouthy to me as a kid.

Then I found these...

The prequels were crap. Revenge of the Sith only came out with some roses due to the tie ends. I've got some hope with this one. I can see a record (recent) piccy visit also.

Anyone know where I can get a vintage star wars t shirt for my 18 month son in town?
Isn't there a plce on Oldhm Street that sells ll that sci-fi/fantasy type stuff? On the left as you go away from Piccadilly, about a third of the way up? They might be the sort of place to check out.
