False spoiler that.

I've seen the shot by shot descriptions of the movie from the call sheets and nothing in there makes me think this is true.

MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW. SERIOUSLY THIS WILL RUIN THE WHOLE FILM FOR YOU. I AM NOT KIDDING.

The general plot is that Luke is missing and nobody knows where he is. He's only in two scenes in the film.

Leia is the Queen of the Resistance movement against the First Order and has been unsuccessfully tracking him for many years. Her and Han have split up and now have an awkward sexual tension between them. Han dies in this movie. They find Luke in the very last scene and give him back the lightsaber which is the "MacGuffin" for this entire film, setting up Luke having a major role in the next film in which he is rumoured to try and rebuild the Jedi Academy. This film features a Skywalker/Solo child but nobody is sure which one it is yet. Best explanation I've heard so far is that Kylo Renn (the Sith) is the Skywalker/Solo child and his fall to the Dark Side is what separated the family and why he is chasing lots of old Sith artifacts as he would technically be Darth Vader's grandson. Leia has also moved a little more to the Dark side type things in this movie - she is in charge of a project to build a superweapon that could wipe out an entire planet. The First Order also have a superweapon able to do this and they are living on a knife edge Mutually Assured Destruction idea which Leia wants to break, also causing tension between her and Han. The First Order are the new "Empire" for this movie and if you have read the books then they bare a close resemblance to the Imperial Remnant from the old EU stories. Essentially the Empire was split into many different 'zones' under control of regional Governors as Tarkin explain in A New Hope, which when the Emperor was killed started feuding amongst themselves - the First Order is the winner of that feud. This is just a general rundown but there's a lot of information out there if you want me to link it.

I read it as spoilers have never spoilt a well made story for me and if this is genuinely right the
Han solo bit
I would rather not have know,
oh well still won't stop me enjoying it

Also Damocles ir right don't open if you don't wanta know
