Start the clear out in the medical room

I was surprised to see Kante playing for Leicester last night. He had an Hamstring and missed only one game. Our players miss 6 games after an hamstring. Spot the difference.

I think I spotted the difference.

"N'Golo Kante I think we'll lose for the next two matches," Ranieri said at a news conference ahead of Tuesday's clash at King Power Stadium. "He has a little pain with his hamstring so I need to give him some rest."

Aguero underwent tests on Friday, with the Argentinian FA announcing he had suffered a "grade two muscle tear to the left hamstring". The striker claimed afterwards: "I think I'll be a month without playing."

Most of us will agree that the team needs a major shake up but in my eyes the first bunch that should go is our medical team. Yet again Leicester play with the same 13 or 14 every week. How can any team expect to win things without their key players?
We have lost Vincent, Sami, David, Kun, Kevin, Fabian and Gael for huge chunks of the season. I would include Wilf in that but to be fair that's a blessing in disguise! Although injuries like KDB suffered are simply bad luck the constant muscle issues are not. This has been a recurring problem for two years now so something is wrong.
I find it hard to understand and accept a club as good as we are now allows this to happen. I hope there is a top to bottom review and clear out and those not up to the job on and off the field are moved on very quickly.

You can have the money but its how you spend it that matters.

Clearly we are not as good at all levels and on a number of levels not nearly as good aswhat a rich owner can deliver monetarily would expect after 8 years of significant investment.

Teams on tighter budgets can do better in the premier league than in the past and while Leicester will find their place next season and could easily drop off quickly where as the likes of City, Manure , Liverpool , Chelsea , Arsenal might have there ups and downs they are highly unlikely to be relegation candidates in the foreseeable future anyway.

In general the more you have the more you are likely to pay over the odds for more players who turn out to be poor performers for a variety of reasons.

We have to get better for our buck much better for our buck when it comes to medico's players , management support , scouting and youth development.

When we do we need to put in better succession plans with people that will always put success of the club first and foremost ahead of their own pecuniary needs.

You can find them at all levels and you don't have to pay a fortune to entice them to buy in to a club like City that not only wants to be the best in England but the best in Europe as well.

The idea that people are calling for employees of the club to lose their jobs when they know the square root of fuck all about medicine, physio, what goes on behind the scenes at city or the specific nature of the injuries is completely absurd. "Soft Tissue Injuries" seems to have become to go to phrase for anyone who wants to have their two cents on the subject without actually having much of a clue on what any of it really means.

Even in the event people were remotely qualified to comment on the matter, as has been mentioned before, they're not in a position to assess what's going on from the outside. There might be one or two people who know what they're talking about but going off this forum you'd think half our support was a qualified physiotherapist.

Have injuries hit us hard? Yes. They've hit Arsenal and Manchester United just as hard too, but why talk about that when we can just keep banging on about Leicester City's injury record in spite of the fact they've played significantly fewer games than us. Some of our injuries have been down to freak accidents and some have been down to ongoing issues with specific players. Would those ongoing issues have been handled better or worse at other clubs? Who knows. Certainly nobody on here.

The injury record has been poor for a long time now and a massive review is required both in the recruiting players in the future that are less prone to injuries particularly soft tissue injuries and can handle the rigours of the pace and physicality of the premiership better than what we currently have.

Bony and Delph have had a combination of illness and injury laden seasons like they never have had before.

Do we get rid of both them all things considered at the end of season?

Can Nasri ever contribute to our side in a meaningful way and be an integral member of a future premiership winning side having started in the bulk of the games?

We could run through many more and the questions not only need to be asked but needed to have been answered already as time wait for no one.

Is the medical problem in-house or elsewhere? Many players seem to have been referred to specialist consultants all over the world and it seems no better.

Jimmy Meadows and his magic sponge seemed to work very well in the past.

I guess the point of a fan forum is to allow free rein in opinions - judgements with or without facts or full knowledge. We all know that - and yet there's so much passion if one person's prejudice is attacked by another - it can be forgotten that most views are just that - a personal point of view

It's good sometimes though for someone to so bluntly point out this in relation to a specific thread - so well said sir.

Thanks and I totally agree that people should be able to air their views, even views based on whims and hunches, but it should always be framed as such i.e personal opinion. Some people are speaking so matter of factly on this particular issue though when they know nothing about it. I have no problem whatsoever with people pointing out that our injury record has held us back this season and perhaps speculating as to how the club might manage it better (though I would still point out that other clubs at our level are having similar issues). However when people are calling for dedicated professionals who probably have families to support etc to lose their jobs when they know nothing about what's going on, well that's ridiculous. By and large we appear to be a really well run club (albeit in the middle of a hugely disappointing season) so if I had to hazard a guess like everyone else is, I'd imagine no stone is being left unturned with respect the management of our players' injuries. We'll be employing the best staff that money can by and the amount we've invested in our facilities is well documented. An over reliance on players with ongoing injury issues and busy international schedules has nothing to do with the medical staff. Do people really believe that if we sacked our doctors and brought in Leicester's that we'd see a dramatic improvement? I don't.

I'm not even kidding. This is farcical. We're ruining the career of the best centre back in the world and ruining our season, once again.

Fucking hell! A mate said to me an hour ago "what can go wrong tonight" and I replied "CTID, something will go wrong" and it did.

It's our warms ups! They're farcical. Fucking about with a fucking giant elastic band. Fuck all proper jogging and calf stretches.

Clueless bastards. I'm fucking raging.

He's not the best centre back in the world. Look on the bright side, at least we'll see some more videos of him lifting weights!

Shouldn't you medical experts be practising your trade in a hospital rather than giving your in depth knowledge on here?

That looks like a fucking great idea now doesn't it. All huff and puff about finding fitness again and overcoming his injury problems... it's just a piss take this whole season.
