*Tevez if he stays, Balo if he puts in performances like the final consistently and starts to bang in the goals again. I know Coentrao is unlikely so I would be willing to give Kolarov another year to adjust to the prem as I think he will be good in the Champions League next season, I do think we need more depth at left back though. Can't wait for next season now boys, the futures bright and it's blue.

Which makes me believe Sanchez is the only starter on the offensive side of the team that we will buy. Unless that is, Tevez is sold.

I don't know what Mancini is thinking, but bear in mind Barry (this season) has played just as many minutes as De Jong and he should be dropeed aswell. But we will see.

However if we want to play properly free flowing football we need someone who can control and pass from midfield which no one in our current team can. Who he (hopefully Fab or Modric) takes the place of I don't know. But in games against weaker oposition this is the team that we should play.

And he and VK are only just getting started on forming their partnership.

Remember Dunne and Distin once they had had time toget to know each other? One of the best central defensive partnerships inthe country and the main reason (along with the Scouser in midfield) we didn't go down under Pearce.

And Vinnie and JL are far superior player to those two, IMHO.

Vertonghen is way better than Lescott as a left sided CD. So is Vermaelen and so are a ton of other CDs. Lescott is average, and if we can improve we should. And while we are at it, we are long past the qualities of Dunne and Distin, those were the qualities that could stave of relegation, now we are looking at those that could win championships.
