I like Vinnie and David’s statues, but I just thought it was a bit premature at the time. We’re going to end up with a lot of statues if we keep this theme going. Pep will be guaranteed one if he stays for a good number of years. De bruyne will get one. Haaland hasn’t even stepped foot in Manchester yet but he will get one. Fuck it, give Alfie one too.

Kev’s should be like the Colossus of Rhodes or the Statue of Liberty at the foot of the little forest where Ashton Old Road meets Pin Mill Brow. Make it a proper Manchester landmark.
