He needs to balance this by making sure that some of the fringe players also get used to playing his way. Plus if he has doubts about whether we need to make further signings in this transfer window, this game gives him a chance to look at his options eg whether to rely on Kolarov as an emergency centre back

I agree with this but the counter argument will be, the game is a dead rubber so these players will not be tested as normal

I'd be giving Fernando, Kelechi, Delph starting spots, and maybe one youngster like Angelino.

Other than that, we will be strong as it's still knitting team structure together and no point picking anyone that Pep won't be relying on anyway.

toure, nasri, zinchenko, garcia and bony can't play! They weren't registered in the squad, garcia and zinchenko haven't been here long enough to count as u21s. I also doubt anyone leaving will want to be champions league tied, including hart.
