Steaua Bucharest post-match thread

Even though Bucharest played into our hands that was one hell of a performance. To think Komps, Gundogon and Sane have not played yet bodes very well. Everyone played well but a special mention to Nolito Gives us balance and energy and tracks back and is also a menace around the box, him and Aguero linked up well. Fernandinho was immense again, just mopping up and starting attacks time and time again.
All we as fans want first and foremost is passion and play for the shirt and to see them fight for the ball and to see us still charging around in the 90th minute when we are 5-0 up is a great sign. Proud of the them tonight
 
very enjoyable game and impressive win. Even with two penalties missed. Be sure we will never get this kind of pace in any PL. Last time I can remember a PL doing this was United when we beat them 3-0 under Moyes. Whatever. Enjoyed it and lots of improvements to come.
 
Wow what Pep has achieved already. Maybe he is not so bad with his decisions after all.
Great to see Raheem that way.
Very delighted to see Stones doing so well. Brilliant signing.
I never doubted Nolito would be a superb deal as well. What a workrate up to the very end. A true street footballer.

Don't care how many people just say Steau were garbage

That was possibly the best display of all out attacking football since the sick swan
 
The biggest compliment tonight was from the Steaua fans, they stayed till the end, there was a buzz in the crowd, people talking, just enjoying what they had witnessed, and as our players left the pitch many were standing and applauding. Its not often that happens, Steaua weren't great, but lets credit our lads, we put them to the sword. Great to watch, its not the finished article by a long way, and its not time to get carried away, but I can't wait to see the finished article.

We'll outscore Pellegrini's first season, I'm confident of that, and I never thought I'd see that many goals in a season ever again.

Since they can't laugh at us on the pitch this is the picture doing the rounds on social media as they attempt to slate our support.
Pic clearly taken before kick off yet they will stoop to any level to try and get one over on us.
From the TV looked about 4 to 5 hundred there which given the draw Was only 10 days ago is a bloody good effort and let's face it even if that pic was our entire support its still a twenty fold increase on what 'their' champions league attendance will be for the whole season

I was disappointed in their finishing... Very wasteful. Good to get them out of their systems .
 
That 4th goal was just sublime. Barcaesque.
I don't care what team u play against, that goal was a work of art.

I thought I had watched some cracking city performances in my time but the style of play the passing and movement and work rate and skills on show was nothing I have ever seen a city team play in my 21 years of following this club. We really should have hit double figures.

My God we have some great times ahead!
 
Some great attacking play ok not the best oppostion but we should easily of won by more and was a great display well done blues
 
Best performance in a long time, really promising the way things are already starting to mold into a Pep team. Buzzing about the future
 
One of the best City performances I have seen for sometime.
It was just like watching Barcelona in their pomp.
Excellent!! Can't wait for Saturday.
