One of the main differences that has done the world of good for players like Sterling is options.

Instead of being limited to just playing it to the FB when under pressure, he's got at least three players busting a gut to be available. It's the same for everybody else too.

The way we play now frees up the attacking players and we're going to see plenty more goals this season!

Allowing for the poor quality of the opposition, the performance tonight was excellent. Hard to think of any player who didn't have a decent game. Some of Willy's kicking was iffy, but that'd be churlish tonight. Well done to Pep and the lads. On to oatcake central on saturday now.
