Hehe yeah i mean anyone would think we are relegation contenders going nowhere if you went of that drivel, plenty of scousers arguing between themselves also though, they aint liking this being a 5th or even 6th placed team.

Some of them have even given up on the history of the club stuff and want to see action now and they are pannicked.

Any up and coming footballer with half a brain should be far more interested in City's future than Liverpool's history.
 
We seriously should consider his teammate, Radosav Petrovic. He is the modern day Xabi Alonso.
 
Didnt he have a trial with arsenal. Why didnt they sign him ?
Wasnt he good enough ?
Couldnt get a permit ?
if he wasnt good enough for them why are we buying him ?

Even if it was because he didn't make the grade, it's long enough ago not to matter, when you're talking about the development of a player that young.

I'm sure I remember hearing it was work permit related anyway though.

From what im reading I think, it should be ok'd by Friday or early next week. But this is a the FA so no guarantees.

Savic, 20, had a medical yesterday and will sign a four-year deal.

I'll answer this first, Savic wasn't taken on at Arsenal as Wenger deemed him too old to bring on like he has with other players. Stefan was 19 when he had his trial at Arsenal and we know how Wenger likes to buy them younger. Stefan probably benefited from it more than Arsenal would have. Partizan ended up buying him from Borca, also Wenger wanted to see him play in a couple of closed door friendlies instead of forking out £2m for the kid. Obviously Borca didn't want him to pick up any injury that would scupper any future deal.


Also i cant believe the lack of hype surrounding the guy. Couple of mates of mine last night were questioning the purchase cos they have 1, never heard of him and 2, never seen him play.

Get excitied, 2012/13 will be his breakthrough year, and please give him a season to settle in the Prem. Look at the likes of Yaya, Balo and Silva who got better as the season went on.

The same Arsenal who didn't want to buy Yaya Toure when he had a trial there?
