Stephen Ireland speaks out

I get the impression that Ireland is so bitter because he loved the club so much.
He's behaving like a love struck teenager who's been dumped for the first time.

As for the club losing it's soul ? What a load of bollocks, we've still got acadamy lads in and around the first team and I bet it hurts him to see the likes of Micah laughing and joking and obviously enjoying his life at the club.

He needs to shut up, get over us and move on. If he keeps up with the bitterness and snidey remarks instead of concentrating on getting his own career back on track, he will regret it.

'Club of my heart is United but I could've stayed with City for life. I wanted to be a hero there.' S Ireland.
but your attitude led to you being seen as surplus.

'Mancini never liked me. He got rid of everyone, even the cook left. The family club I grew up in exists no more.' S Ireland.
mancini gave you a chance but you didn't put enough in. at the start he was saying he was happy under mancini because hughes played him out of position. people have gone to get rid of the losing mentality that has plagued this club for years and years. micah richards and joe hart are still there because they apply themselves and are willing to listen and progress.

'What happens when Mancini goes? He takes his 50 recruits with him? The club's lost it's soul. And City matches are boring.' S Ireland.
we'll be left with a proffesionally run club that a manager can step into without too much upheaval. we are having the best season since i first stepped inside maine road in 1988 against shrewsbury, i for one am far from bored.

'I had contacts with mufc, lfc. mcfc vetoed. I had to join a weaker team. After 15 games, Houllier told me to stay home.' S Ireland.
but they weren't keen to come in for you 6 months later when villa binned you. houllier (although a crackpot) spotted what mancini had spotted. wherever he's been he has always underachieved and blamed anybody but himself. i say everywhere, i'm talking about ireland, city and now villa.

The club's changed, but for the better. In fact, I'm impressed with the way we've modernised but still kept the history and the grassroots stuff.

I'd prefer a decent side in a modernised club rather than this cheeky deluded **** building a mansion out of the wages we pay him to barely play.

His girlfriend has him under the thumb, she has convinced him he is Ronaldihno at his peak mixed with Zidane and Messi.

He could have been a great player but hes too thick and too lazy to take responsiblity for his own actions.

It was Pearces fault, no hang on it was Svens fault, no actually it was Hughes whos to blame, hang on a fucking italian he needs to take the can, what the hell does houiller know anyway, in a couple of weeks he will be blaming Padrew for his shite form.

He will sink further and further down the football food chain until he can face up to the fact he wont ever be as good as he thinks he is without putting the effort in.

Whilst others were singing Superman last night, I was singing 'Irelands a fucking twat'

As I've previously stated; I fucking hate the prick and for me he gets far too much respect from City fans.

Basically saying he wanted us to lose when he was playing for us. Lower than Neville in my opinion.

One good season.

Silva, Elano and even Barton > Ireland.

this mate i would agree. and throw geovanni into that
