It has always had a right of center feel, there are very few real leftists still here in fact. Even before the days you signed up, this place was a fairly left wing place, there were still a hardcore of very vocal right wing posters. Back in those days though, immigration, Brexit and all that came with those manufactured topics were not talking points that were much discussed, it was the days of Blair, the Iraq War etc that were hot topics.

How many Socialists post on here now?

The one thing I remember was that the poll on this forum before the Brexit vote almost exactly mirrored the result for the whole country. I think the forum is fairly representative, but naturally the people most interested in discussing politics tend to be a bit more left or right wing than people who don't.

The main area where I'd say there might be a left-wing bias is discussing American politics, because no Brit in their right mind is arguing from a pro-gun, private healthcare position.

It is interesting.

I came on today to see if there was a thread on the ne party started by Corbyn and Sultana that is approaching nearly 1 million sign ups and i was not surprised to find that no such thread existed.

He's out on licence from his contempt of court sentence for repeating his libel about the Asian schoolboy.

He got released early as the judge said "He has given an assurance that he will comply with the injunction in the future, that he has no intention of breaching it again, and that he is aware of the consequences of what would happen if he breached the injunction again."

I suspect he hasn't breached that injunction so can't be recalled, but I hope we don't have to wait for this family to sue before he goes down again. I assume everyone on here would think what he's done to this family is more worthy of prosecution than wearing a t-shirt opposing genocide. (That should cover most bases....)
