He will sign an improved, incentive-laden contract that will make him a further multi-multi-millionaire and this will all be bollocks in a month or so.

Firstly, he will never get the love and support that he gets from Pep form anyone else. Secondly, he has a chance to win everything with City. Thirdly, he hasn’t yet EARNED the kind of money that a few of the lads make.

If he’s not stupid, he will realize which side his bread is buttered and not allow this to distract from his performances or the relationship he has cultivated with City fans.

Talksport this morning said his salary was £170k he wants £300k keeps scoring the way he is he can have it.

The money in football is out of control but I don’t blame Sterling for wanting as much as he can get.

I don't know if the 180k or 300k figure is right, but it's probably right given the journalists who've reported it, that he wants to be among the top earners at the club, and that's the important issue really.
