I find it difficult to believe he’d be stupid enough to not want to be at the club. On that basis alone I think this gets sorted.
We can't sell a player against his wishes. Sterling has already proved he can stand up to a club.If we can't reach agreement, make it clear that if it goes beyond a certain time, it will be seen as his desire is not to remain at the club. IMO we should look to sell him before he reaches his final year?
Actually he has not proved that this strategy has failed, but it is not a road we would want to go down just an option, I personally believe the lad wants more respect in the monitory sense but also starting assurances, Marhez signing will be a jolt for him especially after the bonding that winning the EPL does for a player, they can all see that CL trophy and want to be in the team that lifts it, IMMORTALITY, is what i think the lad is after? We can't sell a player against his wishes. Sterling has already proved he can stand up to a club.
This is a stratagy of fans that doesn't work Sterling could just tough it out.
I am not saying this will happen but it is far more likely than the club forcing him out.
