I think it’ll be sorted this coming week
Well said, I completely agree. This is such a normal process and it has somehow become a big discussion point. This is not Raheem demanding more or he is going to leave - they are simply negotiating !I know there has been an enormous amount of rumour and conjecture regarding Raheem's contract negotiations. But nowhere has Sterling stated he wants to leave the club (unlike what he did at Liverpool). This is purely a negotiation between two parties to negotiate a wage rise and extension to the length of time he stays at City. The same as Silva, Otamendi, Ferna, Jesus and the likes have already done so. The press and Media want to create a shitstorm around this due to who it is, not the content or context of the details. Why then therefore, do we need to be passing judgement on a perfectly normal activity in football administration.
City will do whats necessary to finalise the details for the good of the club and to the satisfaction of Raheem.
Let's drop the angst and furor and wait for the negotiations to come to their natural conclusion, whilst in parallel giving Sterling 100% support on the pitch.

Guardian just gone with another "stall in talks" story... so probably signing this week then?? :P
If you look at what we were going to pay for Alexis in the summer, and then in January. A buying club isn't going to get a "bargain" as such.
Normal negotiation is going on.
Pep mentioned the KDB renewal was signed in a minute but Kev has been great since he joined.
Re Sterling both sides have valid points in the negiltation.Sterling and his agent are saying last season he scored 20+ goals, including crucial last minute winners. He is English and young which makes him even more valuable. The club is saying yes but he only did that for one season and where was this form during the World Cup?
I would say if Sterling continues to show this form, the club will pay him what he wants in January but I understand why the club is hesistant to pay him now.
All in all I think it’ll get done by January.[/QUOTso you know what both parties are saying, must be great to be so informed by all parties
