Bear in mind that if Zaha came to City, he wouldn't bring his penalty decisions with him...If he wants to leave I'd really consider replacing him with Zaha the more I watch him the more I think how good he would be in a Pep system.
I am a natural pessimist, old City as it were, but I remain confident that this will get sorted. I am sure I will have missed some but apart from Sancho (which was a completely different scenario around career path) I am struggling to remember the last person to leave us on contract non-renewal grounds??
Same reason as Sancho though, not a first team regular, completely different scenario to RaheemTo be fair, it looks as if BRAHIM DIAZ will leave. Although I still hope not.
Think he has improved so much that his importance to the team is just as much now as De Byune or David Silva. He should be paid in line with those. He is making key contributions in every single game which is what the other two do. And he has scope to improve most due to his age.
I think in terms of influence on the team and the games this season, anyone would rate them as following:He's definitely the most improved and he's easily becoming one of the most important players. The stats back his influence up, but giving him a new contract on the same terms as KdB would set a dangerous precedent - don't forget we're negotiating with Sane at the moment and Jesus has signed a new deal recently, and as good as those players are, as soon as you give Sterling a bumper deal, it'll upset the balance with them.
