A poor man's Wright Phillips
Which one ?
A poor man's Wright Phillips
Good point about "calm down".You are aware repeatingly saying calm down is very patronising and tbf who gives a shit about the balon D'or
Secondly no player is perfect and always has room for improvement, but at this present time Sterling is the best English player in the league, that hardly smacks of a lack of confidence.
As for his form for england, he was great in the world cup and the only fuckwits showing no confidence in him were the tosspot media and dense fans believing the shit said media wrote.
Pep has built a team not individuals, you could say the same about passing not shooting about all the midfield and attack bar sergio, they all look to play it to their teammates rather than random shooting for the sake of it.
Good point about "calm down".
But I'll ask you this - can Sterling improve? Or is he at his peak, nowhere to go upwards - this is as good as it gets?
Agreed. All players can improve including messi and ronaldo, once a player stops trying to then their game suffers
Agreed.
So then... given that we agree that Sterling can improve - what aspect of his game is most in need of improvement?
Quit dodging the question. Unless you believe that Sterling is at peak performance and cannot be better still - I do not believe this - then there is room for improvement in his game - as you've acknowledged. His goal celebrations

What change in his game do you think might lead to greatest improvement?
Again - you refuse to say how Sterling could possibly be better - while in the same breath mentioning that any player, Messi or Ronaldo included - could improve.I am not dodging the question, bit I am very happy with sterlings for anx conteibution to the team, and if this is his peak and he performs so well for therest of his career then fine.
What I am seeing I am enjoying, why worry about it.
This is a guy that was grateful Nasri didn’t sign for any of our rivals last season as “he’d have made them favourites for the title”.Universal amongst city and england fans yes it is,the rest i give up as you are clearly not watching how we play or as usual not listening just repeating,i'm out

Meanwhile, I've stated that Sterling lacks a bit of confidence - for which opinion you've seen fit to engage in this debate - presumably disagreeing.
Sterling is one of our best players - but in this forum - it's fair game to discuss his performances and how he might be better still.
