Sterling Penalty - Wenger will face no charge for his comments.

It was a penalty all day long, for me. You can freeze frame and slow it down to see contact etc.
We know there was contact, because in real time, Monreal (the clumsy ****) absolutely clattered into him.

Sterling should edit a video badly of him jumping off a diving board then it flashing to that olympian chap Daley spinning in the air then back to Sterling coming for air after his miracle dive with a big thumbs up aimed at Wenger. Tweet result to Wenger and sit back to enjoy the rage from arse fans.

Seriously though Wenger is an underhand fella and has a nasty streak in him. His comments went a bit beyond post match anger though.

Fair comments can't really argue with your comments re modern Arsenal.....I probably was more focused on the Herbet Chapman Arsenal that era onwards that imho set the tone for the club.NOT necessarily the wengerised abomination of the present.

Ahh gotcha yeah, i see where your coming from thinking of that, i really was not being arsy so cheers for not taking it the wrong way :-) You could have said it about current Arsenal about 10 years ago or whenever it was Wenger started to get really angry at presser q's and on the touchline a bit. It probably stems from the lack of success i guess, anger needs venting somewhere at some point.

Nacho right leg/foot, 'judo' him, tripped Raheem left leg/foot. As Sterling was shielding and planting his left. That combo constitutes a professional foul. That Frenchman is a sneaky guy ;)

Dermot Gallagher said it was a nailed on pen and could easily have resulted in a sending off as well as it was a clear goalscoring opportunity.
He also said the unfit comments were nonsense.
