Sterling - The Sun

You can all-too-easily imagine the conversation between the head shithouses.

"We can't lead with the referendum fall-out. We lied through our teeth and the readers are cottoning on to that. We need a hate figure to distract from the biggest news story in living memory. What about Katie Hopkins?"

"She is one of ours chief"

"Ah crap, yeah. Kelvin McKenzie?"

"Again, one of ours boss"

"Fucks sake, I'm sensing a pattern emerging here. Do we employ anyone who isn't a despicable c***? I've got it! Raheem Sterling! What have we got on him?"

"Nothing boss. He's a likable lad by all accounts who is getting unfairly scapegoated for poor form and a lack of confidence."

"Wait a minute, I'm sure I saw something once that revealed he's got a posh sink..."

"Er, are you sure chief? It isnt topical, relevent or even news of any kind whatsoever"

"We make the news son"

OBSCENE......is the right word for the Sun...and they call themselves journalists......Jesus Christ.

Can someone come up with a belting tune, including him and his sink, and ensure it is sung throughout every game this season please? Then add a witty one to sing at opposition fans giving him shit too.

It's the countries biggest selling newspaper, says a lot about the people of Britain.

You don't do this the day you get embarrassed in the euros. You don't create attention to yourself.

the media are going over the top with him and it is unfair but you don't give them fuel like this.

To the tune of it should have been ten

He's got a posh sink
He's got a posh si-ink
Raheem Sterling
He's got a posh sink

Hah this is comical. It's so ridiculous that at first I thought it was some sort of spoof article a la The Onion.

That is one helluva sink.

That'll do. Simple lyrics are always the best and get the message across.

A sink though? Lol. There are plenty of valid criticisms without resorting to that.

Regardless of whether it's fair or not, Raheem must respond on the pitch. We can complain all day about how unfair it all is, but it won't stop until he starts playing better.

A Pep player will respond. If he doesn't start playing harder and smarter, he'll be gone regardless.
Is there any subject you're not a cock about?

It took three 'journalists' to write that dreadfully disjointed article and it shows as it jumps between his old house in Liverpool and the one not ' thought to be the home featured in the video.'

Millions actually pay for this comic daily but as with broadsheets, the posts in the comments section says so much about the target readership.

There was a study done some years ago in the the language and vocab content of the Sun, the Mirror and the Star and it concluded that the English content was of a reading age standard of 7-9 year olds. I think things have descended further since then.

Selling newspapers is their business and their readership likes this type of printed skewed opinion as headline bait.

Seems to be a trend among all newspapers as they struggle to survive the digital revolution.

Nearly 50 killed and 200 injured in a terrorist attack at Europe's third busiest airport but the sun runs with a story about a footballers sink!!

This and only this, on a day with such horrific news, they choose to run with this......they are trying to destroy the kid and they won't be happy until they do it. There is no doubt at all that they are bullying Raheem Sterling, who is 21 years old kid. A few weeks ago they went after Sheridan Smith and she ended up being hospitalized. God forbid that happens to him, but being 21 years old, with him thinking the whole country is against him, how on earth will he cope?
