Sub appearance sounds sensible, but means starting 1 or 2 of the main strikers again.

Don't see how starting one of the main strikers is sensible. if Jovetic is fit, he should start.

Sensible as in, easing him back in after no football for 3 months. He might only have 20 or 30 minutes in his legs for now.

West Ham will put in some tasty challenges I'm sure. They received much criticism for rolling over too easily and not receiving any yellow cards, plus Nolan and Carroll will play. I believe it would be better to start Jovetic and Rodwell. If anyone gets injured It's better to have more options on the bench. See how long Jovetic and Rodwell can manage then sub them off is a better approach IMO.

He's definitely not 90 minutes ready and I don't think he'll start.... Will come on as a substitute tonight, I think.

Really looking forward to seeing Jovetic tonight, hopfully he'll get at least half an hour with a view to maybe starting on Saturday. Could be a big player for us in the title run-in if he can stay fit.

Really looking forward to seeing Jovetic tonight, hopfully he'll get at least half an hour with a view to maybe starting on Saturday. Could be a big player for us in the title run-in if he can stay fit.

IF he plays, hope he gets a good 2nd half or good 30mins under his belt. IF ok, play him on saturday and get him fully fit for the run in. Some big big games coming up.

It feels almost like the start of his City career tonight. I think he'll do well and the support will be huge for him. With MP saying he probably won't start I'm having a tenner on him being the last scorer at 4-1. Good luck Stevan!

I just hope he doesn't try too hard and go and injure himself in the process. Every time I've seen him play, he ran around like a new puppy eager to please its owners. He needs to take it steady and work himself back in gently, not lunging around like a mad lunatic. I do fear he will do the latter.

Could be great that his back since nasri is out he could cover that position and play out wide. Hopefully all the injuries are behind him and it will be like a new signing. The kid is young and he could become a top player. Just hope he can keep healthy

I am just going to pretend he is actually our first signing of the January transfer window making his debut!
