How come we dont play him in the u21s to build up match sharpness?

Good question, didn't tevez play a game or 2 with the EDS when he came back to get him sharp?
I remember Demichellis doing it in October when he was out for a while.

Personally I think it would help the likes of Jovetic Rodwell and Richards

Jovetic gives us something no other player can give us.

How long do we give him Beermonster ?

Careful now, you will be quoted.

Haha...you can quote me. I've watched a lot of him and think his potential is ridiculous. there are not many players around with his quality. I'd give him another season at least.

So you are saying he will prove himself on his next six City Games ?

I think you may be trying to be clever here?

If he has another injury torn season like this then it would be time to cut your losses anyway.

Really hope the lad gets a proper run of games to show what he has the potential to do.

If Aguero has another season like this I'm not sure we can carry two injury prone strikers in the squad next season. I hope Aguero has an injury free next season but I honestly think that injuries to our forwards could cost us the title this year. We're lucky that the midfield has chipped in with some vital goals.
With the number of games we play some of these players have to be moved on ; Richards, Rodwell as their contribution is minimal and they never really reach match fitness . I'm not saying that Jovetic is quite at that level yet but we can't afford another season like this where we're dependant on Dzeko and Negredo. Let's face it if we have an injury to either of these players we're vulnerable

Agreed 2 strikers out for around half the season each has hindered us this season.

-- Fri Apr 04, 2014 7:13 am --

Rodwell, Richards, Demichelis and Scott Sinclair last year have played for the EDS. I think it makes sense, especially if they are playing at the Etihad (which they have a couple of times lately) so he could get accustomed to the surroundings, but I guess the problem is that featuring in one of these would mean he wouldn't be able to be in the first team squad for a game, which defeats the whole point. Either that or its an ego thing

Looked sharp when he came on and help create some decent chances. Good anticipation for the goal.
