Stevan Jovetic (continued)

Showed the class we know be has, end product too, class, class performance and best of all showed Jovetic/Aguero is a realistic and working partnership, can't wait to see it in full swing.

Top top player, the true successor to Tevez.

Different type of player to Tevez and much more skilful.

I know, Tevez was much more aggressive and Jove is much more silky on the ball.

They both have that low centre of gravity and tight ball control though. Jove showed real intensity to get to that ball ahead of Moreno.

Jove will be the difference this year, I guarantee it.

Found an old post of mine:
from the 'Future Signing? - September Edition' thread in September 2010 I posted the following... said:
Indeed! We should still always be on the look out for players. We are only a dick head agent or a bad injury away from losing any player!

The young player I've been most impressed with over the last 12months is Stevan Jovetic, a Macedonian attacking midfielder currently at Fiorentina:

Yes I know he looks like a girl, but he can really play! He was the scorer of two goals and tormentor of many other things against Liverpool in the Champions Lg last season. The thing is because he wasn't in the World Cup, and because Germany and Mesut Ozil were, the worlds attention on a young attacking midfielder was elsewhere.

Macedonia are, however, in Englands Euro Qualifyers group and we will at least get a few chances to see him.
I did get his country mixed up but was really impressed with him in the previous season, and REALLY wanted to sign the lad back then.

I was really pleased to sign him last year and love to see him fit and playing well now.

Brilliant!
