One thing I always do on returning from a game via the pub is read the Matchday thread, just to see how different the game I saw was from the one the usual armchair flappers watched.
It's an endless source of amusement to see the comments of the Sky couch brigade, as collectively they seem to have the football acumen of my border collie.
Last night's efforts didn't disappoint either, because Jovetic was utter shite and should have been taken off, according to these Mensa candidates.
Perhaps watching on television gives you an alternative reality or something, but some of the comments on that thread are just the hallmarks of an idiot, and I'm glad that they don't actually attend games, because frankly they are an embarrassment.
If the lad stays this sharp and injury free, a great season beckons.
Or Manuel could listen to the stay-at-home brains trust and drop him instead.
The mind fairly boggles at times, it really does.
