I still think Dzeko's a goner in the last week of the transfer window if we bring in Negredo along with Jovetic.

Agreed. I just don't see him staying. Negredo is the target man the Pellegrini wants.

To let Tevez and Dzeko go for Jovetic and Negredo would be shockingly bad transfer business IMO. Feels like we only go backwards these days.

You are fooling no one.

I don't get why people are going on about selling tevez as bad business, do they not realize if we kept him he would have became a free agent? starting to get on my tits

Pellegrini even confirmed Tevez wanted out.

Some people (like Brendan) are just idiots

Dong get me started on this bad business to sell tevez crap. We got 17m saving in salary and bonus a d an 11m fee so basically we have a 28m cash benefit for him going.

What idiot would spend 28m on a player who has plays about half available games, scores 14 a season, is ageing, slowing, fattening and becoming a flat track bully. Not only that ones whisker away from prison did to his idiot behaviour.

Best piece of business the club has done since we signed zabba I reckon he would get about 10 goals next season so 3m a goal and no resale value.

It looks like Negredo and jovetic will cost is about 10m in wages and about 9m in amort so basically we will have Negredo and jovetic for over 5m less PA than tevez and they will have resale value and are younger, hungrier and want to play for City.

Stupid business would be keeping tevez getting a dozen goals and losing him on a free to Juve with us paying him a big loyalty cheque to go. Stupid is paying players to be here who want out

This is another great video of Jovetic.

Sergio will like this signing. They will form a good pair.
Couldn't agree more. Tevez and Aguero linked up so well, the pace the passed the ball and there movement was just pure class. This guy would give Aguero the same option. Jovetic's link up play is brilliant.

I think many look at Chelsea's three amigos in awe and they don't see what's in front of them.

A frontline of -
---------------Aguero---------------
Jovetic------------------------Navas

IMHO that is terrifying and due to versatility, quality and pace. Behind them Silva who should play a key central role and then backed by Yaya and Fernandiho. That will be a very strong offence and I simply could not give a flying fuck about the three amigos because I feel we will have the stronger unit.

Can't wait for next season.

The quality of interplay we will see will rival any team on the planet.

Totally agree. Can't wait for new season to start.
But I suppose the players need a few friendlies to get up to speed.

Well, if Peligrini truly is planning on playing a 4-3-3, would it not make sense to have 4 strikers for him to chose from, so it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to see how all of Dzeko, Aguero, Negredo and Jovetic would get quality match time between all of the competitions City will be in.

Jovetic isn't a striker, and he will not be used as one. Although nobody can be certain it's highly probable that he'll be utilised on the left wing with navas on the right with one of Kun/Negredo/Dzeko up front

as shown in the image above my post

Way too sensible a post for the majority on here. They'll be calling you a rag next.

Normally I don't watch videos of players it looks like we are about to sign, no idea why, maybe I'm just crazy. But that put a smile on my face
