Coaching report will say 'competent and capable' Probably closing the gap on Tevez as Tevez fades but he won't take us to a new level. No issues with signing him but won't get excited.
Not true. He's not got Aguero's pace over ten yards but he's not bloody Zabaleta. And who would you bring in that has "proper pace"? Muriel? Good choice if so.Exeter Blue I am here said:Blue Haze said:Agreed. Watched him play over the last few seasons. We could do with some proper pace up top as well, and Jovetic has bugger all of it
The two spaniards are only going to lead us down the garden path IMO, Jovetic makes sense as he can play wide or up front, more use to the squad, better than having a "Balotelli" sat around not playing all season.GeorgeHeslop'sTackle. said:It may well fit the ffp criteria, as well tikkis future utopian vision of the club paying relatively low basic wages but high performance related bonuses.
Fact is though that, imo, replacing outgoing individuals with cheaper less talented alternatives is only going to take us one way.... And that certainly ain't onwards & upwards
