Would have thought around 25m euro would do it though.

We blow release clauses out of the water. :-)
We are United and we are jealous.Benarbia said:LoveCity said:Is his release clause not 30 million euros?
Exactly, we're Man City, we pay over the odds

Navas is going to be a great signing, his pace will be the key.
Silva in the middle will be an absolute treat, his creativity the key.
Jovetic on the left will be a joy to watch, his intelligent movement the key.
All of these 3 players behind Aguero would be unreal. We would have 3 players in the attacking midfield positions who have brilliant technique and would fit in any team in the world.
Then if we do sign Negredo, we would have a goalscorer and a beast up front who can link up play with the smaller technical players. Even if we did not get Negredo, Dzeko and Guidetti would thrive from it.
Would be in for a very exciting season if this transfer happens.

The one thing i hate about Nasri is his mentality. Jovetic is a winner, he has a big mentality which is why he has captained club and country. He works very hard for the team and his natural techical ability.
Until i see Nasri fighting for the team, he will not be considered in my first 11. Technically, he is a cracking player, but far too many times last season he blew hot and cold and frustrated too many of us on here. Its a shame because if he could recapture the form he had at Arsenal in that one season, he would be brilliant.
Also... i see him rotating with Silva in the middle and not playing as an inside forward or a wide attacking midfielder. Jovetic is a lot more adaptable in that position.
At this moment in time, i would rather start with Milner over Nasri. More consistent.

€15m? U high?dachoosen1 said:Think 32mil euros is well off the mark! The owner of Fiorentina was saying he really didn't want to do any business with Juve so unless they offered 30 mill euros Jovetic wouldn't be going there, so if that's the price for a team they abhor and is rival cant see they demanding more from a team they are meant to be on good terms with, would think 15-25mil euros would be more realistic.

Nasri looks like a player who thrives of man management, Mancini never offered him that and I can see Samir being a completely different player under Pellegrini, a more consistent one.
Man management is all that some of our players need, sometimes being told your a valued player and a key member of the team on a regular basis is all you need to keep performing consistently.

Nasri was inconsistent at Arsenal too.
But Nasri says here that he's not a player that needs an arm around the shoulder like others, and that Mancini's man management worked for him.sam-caddick said:citizens_1976 said:TonyM said:Erm....Nasri?
