To be fair I've met Phil Neal on numerous occasions and he's an absolute gent with a real soft spot for City

Memory can play tricks but Im pretty sure when Phil Neal was apponted as caretaker many people were not happy but by the end his reputation was enhanced. Seemed the only guy prepared to stick around, front things up and gave a damn.

I remember Rob told me, he couldn't wait. I also remember having a conversation with the wing commander about how poorly ushited had played one night in Europe and him getting really upset with me and telling me that City would never be at the level of his beloved rags. I replied that never was a long time. He argument hasn't aged well has it?
