Steve very sadly passed away yesterday, to those who knew Steve, what else can I say, top bloke, top family man, top

Very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting Steve a couple of times when I was assisting his stats with a list of referees that he was going to add to the match statistics. He was a top bloke, a gentleman and, of course, a true blue. He will be sadly missed and I offer my condolences to Ash and all his family and friends. Those of you interested in non-league football will know that that other great statto, Tony Kempster, died a short while ago. I hope he and Steve are comparing notes somewhere.
