Still Get a Lump in the Throat 10 Years On.

We would take thousands again anywhere.........although ticket prices , allocations and distance all went for us that day.

Oh and Rovers fans cashing in!

saw myself in the last clip,1.12 in on the left behind my mate in black.I had a City shirt on and wearing a white cap they were giving away that day.Fantastic day, great memories.

I was there, me ann my mucka was on the poster they did afetr the game, his wife found us on there, gawd knows how as there were literaly thousands of faces on these!!

It now hangs proudly in the basement bar!!

One of my best ever days suporting City, along with the 5-1, the Charlton home game, the last game at Maine Road but for sheer emotion this and theWembly play off game will take some beating no mater what we do from here, for what they meant!!

Tears in eyes watching these again - best team in all the world and fans to suit!!

Brilliant Day . couldnt get a ticket , so i drove there , parked my car on ASDA carpark and sat on that hill . Couldnt get pissed and couldnt get in the ground. but still loved every minute of that day.....

Not the biggest ever away following at Ewood though i'm afraid. You'd have to go back to May 1978 for that...

In 1978 I doubt you even got HOME attendances of 20,000 let alone bring that many away...

Rovers fans don't agree with you: <a class="postlink" href="http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=73&fid=51&sty=2&act=1&mid=2121516427" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tn ... 2121516427</a>

"Bolton in 78 by a country mile"

"i was at both games and Id say Bolton easily"

"Inside the ground Bolton win it easily"

Inside the ground Bolton win it easily they all got into the old Ewood But City at the new Ewood had thousands outside on the hills behind the Riverside so its quite a tough call

"Rovers fans"... you mean two of them!

And one thought City brought more!

Not exactly convincing, eh?

Strangely enough, but in those days we used to take over Burnden Park as well...

I have to say that is one of the most inspirational vids ever seen!! I just love City, the fans and our future dreams. We are the best, let's never forget that!!!

Actually, while most remember this day as our fantastic following, we routinely took over Ewood Park in the old second division days.

You might have had one good turnout at Blackburn, we took over the place every time we went there!
