Its nothing to do with being a local team. I have a soft spot for Oldham, Bury and Rochdale. But i remember 2 friendlies at the end of the 80s, the first where they were attacking any City fan. The 2nd when a lad walking back to the bus station next to me got hit with a brick. Couldn`t happen to a nicer set of fans. I hope they go bankrupt.

No mate. Been to Oldham loads of times and never seen trouble. Certainly not smacking lads walking down the road with their girlfriends like i`ve seen there. But then again everyone told me there would be trouble at Burnley last week, and no doubt lads will have tales of trips there, but i went in the bar in the cricket ground before and after the game and saw no trouble. Just my personal experience of trips to County were not very nice.

if you want some sort of idea of how bad things are at county a lad I know cant name him, used to play for county 3 - 4 seasons ago. now plays semi pro for a local team and in Jan he was offered £100 a week to re sign for county ha ha and he turned them down could not afford the pay cut what a joke the club is . ha ha ha ha
