As has been said above - another shambolic performance just before a European game. Doesn't MP realise that if we don't finish in the top four then there won't be any Champions League football. Two points out of twelve from our last four away games is totally unacceptable. I really feel for the travelling fans, they turn up in numbers, shout encouragement to their heroes and what do they get in return - absolute rubbish.
Today's result is all Yaya's fault, he didn't turn up for this game, invisible for the whole 95 minutes, and his teammates were wandering around looking for him. (Shit, just remembered he was injured that was why he wasn't there).
Being serious - we played that whole game with ten men, Bony is just not suited for our style of play - there is simply no movement from him for the "creative" players to put balls into space. Sterling took too many wrong options today trying to beat players rather than playing the ball into the box (Oh just a minute there was no one in the box to play to). The only defenders that seemed to try were Sagna and Otamendi the others were just not switched on defensively and Fernando was hopeless today, just when I thought he was coming good.
I honestly expected a half time reaction (as per Liverpool) but no, same starting 11 until the 60th minute.
I'm getting a bit pissed off at getting up in the early hours of the morning with great expectations only to have then shattered by players that don't perform. The only consolation I had today was that I was sitting in a nice warm house not suffering like those poor souls who were at the Britannia.
That's my two cents worth, its up to MP and the squad to turn it around YET AGAIN.
