Not sure how Manuel can survive if we lose this one.

The problem is he is best friends with the director of football so I can’t see him being sacked.

It’s not good that we have a group of professionals running the club that are only accountable to each other.

Ferran won’t sack Txiki, Txiki won’t betray Manuel. They all lean upon each other so if Khaldoon sacked one of the 3 I can see it creating tension.

Hope we win but I can see us getting beat 3-0 or something ridiculous to compound how bad we've been recently. Looks like half of the players don't care.

He won't we will be 10 points behind Chelsea ( Everton are rubbish this season no goals in them at all ) and Southampton 1 point behind us , Manure 2 points , Spurs possibly 3 and Arsenal 4.

It puts this game into some perspective and Stoke and Leslie won't roll over at home.

Probably all things considered our toughest away game to date.

Not sure about the boys club though , all three mightl go if things go awry this season most likely.

Despite FFP our recruiting since 2011 has been poor at best.

As many have said its part and a significant part as to why we haven't kicked on like we hoped we would after our first title especially in Europe.

Also MP in his desire to play his style seems to have weakened us considerably in other areas key to the game.

Corners , defending set pieces , crosses into the box , defending the break , movement forward , tempo , organisation and movement on and off the ball and the list goes on or could this be also that our players lack by and large the skill to be effective in these basics of the game.

It could be both but it is strange,

I know we are still second but it looks like a different City this year I just don't think we have that ruthlessness about us anymore , we had even with a fair swag of these players.

Haven't enjoyed a game this year to be honest perhaps bar Newcastle away , Liverpool at home , Southampton away , Sunderland away and Spurs at home.

Extremely tough match, considering how poor City are at the moment. Draw all over this IMO. 1-1

Really? I'd say it has defeat all over it.

Goes without saying I'm hoping and expecting a win, but if we play like we have been doing (Chelsea game aside) we will lose.

It's time for our big players to stand up and be counted, and for the manager to show some imagination and try something a bit different. I'd go with:

-----------------------------Hart----------------------

Zabaleta------Kompany----------Mangala------Clichy

---------------Fernandinho-------Nasri-------------

-----Navas----------------Silva--------------Milner----

-------------------------Aguero------------------------

This is the exact team I would play ! possibly swapping Jimmy with Nasri

That looks bang on to me,but have a feeling pellegrini will start with the same side that played hull..

Hart
Zaba-Kompany-Mangala-Clichy
Fernando-Nasri
Navas-Silva-Milner
Aguero

Can't see anyone else in the team who might be able to offer any attacking or dictate the tempo from CM, so I'd give Nasri a go. Only really picking Fernando over Dinho as otherwise we look a bit short for a game against Stoke, maybe Sagna instead of Zaba instead.

Big big big big match.

I'm glad Bony and Toure are out, it's one last chance to prove that we can win without them.

If we win it will at least be a massive confidence boost heading towards the Barcelona tie and the final part of the Premiership season with Bony and Toure back, if we don't...

I think we've already proved that we can't.
