Stoke Fans

I think some of the Stoke lads have given good arguments tbh, apart from criticising our support and attendances where they sound daft.

We can't really call Stoke boring considering the football we've been watching this season.

They play to their strengths so fair play to them. I wish we did because with the players we have we could see some brilliant attacking football!

Some City fans seem to have forgotten where we've come from, we was once like Stoke, didn't have a lot of money and doing what we could to win games. Now a lot of people on here are starting to sound like United fans, bragging about trophies and shit.

Oh dear. There are some real lost souls on here. Some things:

1) Rory Delap is Stoke's best central midfielder. Presumably some of you are judging him on his ability to bore everyone to death by perpetually playing the ball back to his own centre-backs, but the guy has genuine management potential. I'll wager he'll make a finer boss than that tactically impotent carpet salesman you've got at the minute.

2) Nobody's giddy about drawing against Man City. Last minute equalisers are great no matter who they're against, but now that the dust has settled there's rather a lot of disappointment that we didn't kill you off when we had the chance. We should have been at least 4 goals to the good at half time and it should have been a famous Stoke victory.

3) Tippy-tappy is not entertaining. Goalscoring opportunities are entertaining. Goalscoring opportunities do not come from keeping the ball in your own half. Spain won trophies playing tedium-ball, but Germany were far better to watch. Stop lying to yourselves.

west brom keep trying to play footy the percieved righht way and their fans take the moral high ground when they go down

we play to our strengths, paddy power paid out on us to go down after our first game and we are still here

famous wins against liverpool, arsenal, spurs etc and with good football times as well

we beat you with ten men, a wrongly disallowed goal last year, and let you off the hook on sat and disposed of you in the cup

if the rest of your team had the attitude of joe hart you would be unbeatable.

seen some of you are ripping delap here is a story

we had delap on loan from sunderland and in his second game for us we played ironically sunderland, a rash challenge from a sunderland player and he broke his leg and was out for 6 months. pulis signed him straight away where it would have been easy to send him back.

that is true class epitomises our club at the moment, compared to the shitty way you dealt with mark hughes
 
Just watched Barca hammer Real. What the fuck was that all about? Tippy tappy shite. Where were the throws? Where were the 80 yarders from keeper to Alehouse centre forward? All they did was pass the ball to each other on the floor. Poofters, typical foreigners. What kind of sub-Mancunian witchcraft was this?
Barca have no class, they don't know about fewer than 10k turning up. That's proper loyal Clayhead support. And they haven't got Vale on their doorstep to compete with.
