Well that was a strange game but a brilliant result.
The wind must not have helped, but it just felt to me like I could have been watching a game from last year. Rarely noticed the inverted full-backs, fair enough might not do it all the time, from the stats we didn't make tons more passes than them. We did run more than them, at our best we could still play through them, just found it a bit more difficult to control and finish it off, which you would expect we are a work in progress.
First I've heard of these new penalty rules and I don't like it. Worked out as I felt we needed that goal, Sergio finishes back to normal. A perfect free kick from KDB and Agüero bags another header. Was so frustrated with their pen, Sterling touched him a fraction of the amount Otamendi was held, but if you don't look at the ball that equals penalty. If so there will be 5 pens a game which is artificial rubbish, hopefully there's a re-think.
Kelechi came on and did extremely well, he knew better than me when he squared to pass in the box; the slight dummy also very nice and Raheem unselfish to give Nolito two good goals.
When under pressure it can get a bit nervy, but John Stones barely put a foot wrong so motm for me. It was fantastic in the end, 4-1 winners and blasting out the new Guardiola chant, loved it.
