think he will use Zab in the midfield this game and it would be a move I'd agree with
I am inclined to agree with you but feel sorry for Garrido who has done little wrong.

Does anyone know if there is tickets in the away end for tomorrow night left? i cant get through to the ticket office.

Far too attack minded...only 3 defensive midfielders? Against a top class attacking force like Stoke we really need at least 5 or 6 defensive midfielders so we can sit back and hit them on the break. Last thing we want is people passing the ball forward. After all we are huge underdogs, totally outclassed, and keeping it to a 2 or 3 goal defeat would be progress.

Mancini has a good point yanno about our pitch bein bigger. Not that i think were goin 2 wembley this year like.
I cant for the life of me see why teams cant combat stokes ONLY weapon(thats unfair thier fans are great & make loadsa racket),only weapon on the pitch then. You all seen that video of the kid doin the somersault throw in & the kid gettin twatted inth gob wiv the ball-point being the kid was stood on the line-why dont teams do that?
swp stood in front & jumped (bless him) but had little effect.Forcing a foul throw(which i notice only one last year was actually punished-robby!)or limiting the distance is a must-as they have scored 7 goals from delaps throws this season alone .Teams are afraid 2 put the ball out fer a throw-given will be more than aware of this on weds night.I dont see a law that says you have to be x amount of yards from the line-as the throw is sposed to be BEHIND the line. After that poxy ref v liverpoo on sunday i hope we get a decent MIB this time.Enjoy the game if ya goin-we could have a saga v chelsea next!

any decent pubs in or around stoke with decent atmosphere before kick off do any of you know? doesnt matter if its neutral.

We need to play a big physical team that can win the aerial battle.
I reckon-

-------------Given----------------
Richards--Kompany--Lescott-Bridge
---Ibrahim----Dejong---Barry-----
-------------Ireland-------------
--------Ade---------RSC--------

I don't think there's any point in playing wide-men since the pitch is so small and narro. Ireland can act as a playmaker with two target men to work off up front.

--------------Sorensen---------------

Huth---Shawcross-----Higgy----Collins

Delap----Whelan----Whitehead--Tuncay

------------Fuller------Mama----------

1 - 1 after ET.

Anyones on Peno's.

Lets hope he does go with tuncay, fuller and mama from the start. Worked well so far and gives us an attacking edge!!!

Plenty of pubs in stoke town centre.......wetherspoons and the famous lion are usually good for a beer. The harvester outside the ground gets a decent atmosphere but gets chocker!
