Well what was it? Was I watching a different match to you? It was a great strike by Yaya Toure, but it did take a deflection. I've not seen the word luck mentioned next to it as of yet. Crouchey's goal didn't take a deflection but I've seen called lucky a couple of times.

I aren't a WUM lol. I don't want United to win the title, I was just saying what I thought lol.

this post match discussion could resemble any away game since the 6-1, and that is the worrying aspect for me.

what are we faced with each and every game, a team that drops to the edge of their own box, defends with discipline and remain patient, knowing full well that at some point they will get a chance as city commit more men forward in desperation, leaving spaces at the back.

the problem to my mind lies in the fact we are too narrow, an over reliance on the full backs getting forward, while more orthadox wide players sit on the bench.

am i convinced our wide players are good enough, not really, but the shape just isnt there, and while people are saying silva has gone off the boil, he may have, but he needs options and outlets, he is a brilliant player but needs runners.

our manager at the moment appears reactive to problems as opposed to pro active, swansea away we created more in 8 minutes than the previous 82, sadly it took conceding to take the shackles off.

can we still win the league, off course we can, but we are looking to our manager for ingenuity, especially away, we have fallen for the same trick for months now, it isn't coincidence, and i am suprised with our supposed wonderful options why we havnt devised another system.

i personally look forward to the return of vinny and jolean, and surely milner deserves more game time, even if to only inject some energy and drive.

lets get behind the team, we can do this, a point yesterday isnt that bad, win next week and see where it takes us, lets get our heads up.

what disappoints and concerns me is not only the result and the performance, but the fact that it was predictable; we knew that this would be the outcome, as we have seen exactly the same kind of thing in so many away games recently (lack of width, lack of work rate, lack of aggression), and this is constantly the result of team selection (particularly the lack of milner and playing both nasri and silva).

its becoming far too predictable and repetitive and I'm worried that mancini won't change it. if we continue this away problem over to the start of next season we are in BIG trouble

it was a quality strike, lucky as in he didn't really know where it was going, more a hit and hope.

that said it was good that he stood out from a bunch of pub players, cloggers that actually could'nt play football if their life depended on it.

We are the Arsenal of last season away from home.

Predictable in the sense that the home team packs out the 18 yard area and beyond, allowing us to pass the ball sideways, back, sideways, back, sideways, while waiting for us to try and pick a pass through a congested and well organized defence.

The fact that opposing teams are rarely stretched and their fullbacks are rarely tested is testament to our away form/results.

Sometimes I feel frustrated that there is no plan B away from home.

If we do lose the league, it won't be down to Sir and his team, it will be down to our predictable tactics and indifferent away form.

Crouchy is well capable of doing that. We've all seen him score spectacular volleys before, and it was a great footballing moment.

The Stoke players weren't that great either!

Crouch's goal could easily be goal of the season which would make a change from last years off a fuckin' shin pad.....

A massive deflection would have taken it out of the keepers reach like Cahill against us last week, yesterday's beat the defender and keeper because of its quality, nothing else

I have no idea why people choose to invade fan forums? Living near Stoke now however I'm not at all surprised that you feel the need to put your oar in...... Just saying
