Stoke Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Sooner we realize Milner is waste of space the better. He is workhorse with no skill whatsoever and offers nothing in offense, how did he get on field when we needed to score goal. The same for England, every time he plays and, God forbid, Barry England loses all little of pace and fluidity it had

Let the shit storm begin, cause I was negative about crap player that is loved for having no talent but 3 lungs

one of the reasons for firing bobby and handing the controls to pelli, was that he could get more out of the squad. He has had 5 supposedly major signings and nothing has improved, we look less cohesive and nervous. We should have back ed bobby, this all about 2 little spivs looking to fleece our owner.

Well this game will show the deluded "we are going to win the league" the problem of this team " utter shit away" so close it and just watch the team and forget thetitle too overrated and by the way don't burn your head

Get a grip.
It WILL get much better sooner rather than later.
Says who? At least the 'flappers' have evidence we're shit. Show us evidence we'll turn it around.

Quite a lot of concerning elements in that performance:

- still look shaky and error prone at the back (I expect this will improve when Kompany returns but we're talking basic stuff that shouldn't happen even in his absence)

- tempo of our passing is still way, way too slow. Yaya is the only one who can move it quickly and the others all defer to him far too much

- Midfield don't offer enough options to the defence (which contributes to the slow tempo)

- Rodwell looked frankly awful. Game totally passed him by. Afraid to do anything, afraid to take responsibility. Lad's got talent but he won't do anything at a top club with that attitude

- He didn't have any service to speak of, but Kun is way too selfish and clumsy at the moment.

It's early days for Pellegrini's City, but the early signs are awful. All the bad bits of Mancini's City, without the good bits. I'm sure he'll improve from here but the improvement had better be quick, as the margin for error to make the top four, never mind anything else, is very small this season.

Overall I'd say that was a hugely concerning performance. Teams will start fancying their chances to get a result against us when we're away as our away form is truly abysmal.

Considering how that went, I'm absolutely fucking delighted with a point.

We shouldn't be thinking like that though.

With the talent we have at our disposal a performance like today's should rarely, if ever happen.

It's becoming a common occurance in away games where we just seem to be dire.
