It was awful at least we didnt lose. Pellegrini had two weeks to think about this game, and he could come up with only this tactically, I think Hughes did a better job today, they had also better chances to score.
Our defence can be a joke but our attacking play wasd also a joke today, Begovic hardly had to do anything, we had some weak shots but this slow short passing game, starting always from deep in our half from Yaya does no favour to us. Was the same many times last season seems it wont go away just that easily. But it will cost us important points.
The subs didnt really have much impact, Navas tried a few crosses, Agüero lost the ball constantly. Negredo deserved a startig chance after his displays but today he was hardly any better than Dzeko in his bad matches.
Waited more from this match, at least a scored goal. Apart from the first 5 and last 6 minutes Stoke wanted it more, when they went ahead there was more energy in them than in us. This is unacceptable.
The slow passing/build ups killed Mancini as well but I thought he likes it that way and was one of the reasons I wanted him to go.
