Stoke Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Maybe Real Madrid was right about Pellegrini.
About saying that it was only due to Mourinho's availability as to why they chose to replace him?

1) Pellegrini looks way too calm to me. If he thinks he will easily make up 7-10 point differential even if we strike the form at some point - oh, boy....is he in for surprise in the EPL.
e
2) That said - I dont think players are executing what he wants. He can desire all the wing-play and ball movement in the world, the players we have are (and will be) inclined to, given choice, go middle rather than go wide, or go short rather than go deep. This will be Pelle's main task as a manager...changing this mindset.

3) Somebody needs to tell Aguero to stop hugging the fucking football. Seriously.

Edit:

4) Milner is looking very, very average for some reason.

Not surprised by the flapping and whining. We were poor today, no doubt about that, but really with the injuries we have, and a CL game in midweek, plus the rags next weekend. The point and clean sheet will do.

Absolutely no need to panic or make rash judgements about the players or the manager. We will get much better.

Billy apart from 1 win against 10 men at home we've been shite all pre-season and now for the last 3.

Rightly or wrongly lose next week and the wagons will be circling.

Well that was shit, hard to take any positives from that performance at all apart from the fact we didn't lose. The team selection looked good but we never got going at all. Very, very poor

FFS. What on god's earth is it with your calling Billy out bollocks? Give it a fucking rest, it's so dull.
It's very apt

No it's not. Billy didn't sack Bob, Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon did. Just discuss the fucking game.

In the pregame they said Pellegrini had never won a major trophy

Is that true? No league, nothing?

How is this piece of trash still around?

wtf?
Milan lost to a freshly promoted team.
we have what I consider, to be one of the WORST coaches for any top team... I want him gone more than anything on earth

I was seriously asking. Pelle came with really high accolades.. I had assumed he had won something.

He coached Real thats it the other teams no coach in the world would have won a trophy with. With real he was unlucky because that was the year Barca and pep were school everyone in Europe. We played shit today but might want to give the guy some more time before wanting him gone. We are becoming very spoiled fans its win now or gtfo. Shame really, we got a point and move on.

I happen to agree with you, there were circumstances attached to today's game

Gone backwards since last year and the players want a good kick up the backside. Much more urgency, commitment and hard work required. We have played two away games and hardly created any chances at all. Lucky to draw today as Stoke certainly created more. Yaya needs to be much further forward where he can do some damage. Something is definitely lacking and I'm beginning to think it's the players attitude.
