Well well well..sat on bus and the majority yes the majority are now saying what we have just witnessed was utter garbage that was and there is zero difference to last season..

Fuck this holistic shit..the club have majorly fucked up..

Come on shears lets be hearing your..its a good point bollocks..sorry but its anything but that..

Did you not get the memo on what holistic means? ;)

Stoke look more than a useful team and I suspect no team will relish going there. We came away with a point and a clean sheet and I think we'll settle for that, but we were poor again. We created nothing, looked shaky at the back and were generally lacking pace and imagination. We got away with it today, but it doesn't fill me with any kind of confidence. the manager was adamant that the selection had nothing to do with the CL on Tuesday, and there aren't any teams in the PL, certainly not Stoke who can make 6 changes and still put out an 11 of that quality. But they were second best. All depends on us hitting good form SOON.

In the pregame they said Pellegrini had never won a major trophy

Is that true? No league, nothing?

How is this piece of trash still around?

wtf?
Milan lost to a freshly promoted team.
we have what I consider, to be one of the WORST coaches for any top team... I want him gone more than anything on earth

I was seriously asking. Pelle came with really high accolades.. I had assumed he had won something.
Because it's so hard to do it yourself....

To play as poorly as we did & get a point is a definate bonus. A distinct lack of creativity (which is even more worrying when looking at the bigger picture) and not one clear cut chance all game, while stoke missed 3 sitters.

Arsenal won at Sunderland , Spurs and Rags both won at home ..... once again we come up short.

Rags best us next week we are already looking at a 'gap' , and it's not even October !

My missus is always saying that to me

Not surprised by the flapping and whining. We were poor today, no doubt about that, but really with the injuries we have, and a CL game in midweek, plus the rags next weekend. The point and clean sheet will do.

Absolutely no need to panic or make rash judgements about the players or the manager. We will get much better.

I know we're a work in progress I just don't get what style of play Pellegrini wants? What system is it that the players need to get used to???

If Stoke had a better finisher it could have been 4-0.

We messed up not getting another midfielder to replace Barry, because Rodwell and Milner although solid aren't match beaters.

Oh and Nasri is a complete shitbag! What a waste of money he is.

Apparently the Mancini song was being called out by the fans-is this true?

If it is I would not be suprised.

If so that's an utter fucking disgrace Mancini never won at Stoke in fact we never played well against Stoke with him either.

No not a disgrace as we would have won last year but for two blatant handballs that let Crouch score.

I am all behind Pellegrini but bringing up
Mancini's record when he made us winners is a complete joke.

A point at Stoke would be OK if lost points away from home were an anomaly rather than the norm now. The brutal truth is we've taken 1pt from a possible 6pts in two away games and many more games of this type are to come... the Sunderlands, the Evertons, the Liverpools, the Spurs', and so on.

Personally I think Pellegrini needs time to implement his style, but the issue is some of these players make you wonder if they can be arsed adjusting to what he wants. Nasri was just so, so ineffective even though he tried to involve himself. Negredo, like is often the case with our strikers, didn't have much service as we yet again struggle to create chances which is incredible given the money we have spent. Early on there were actually signs we may be figuring out how to bypass the parked bus with nice passing triangles and other patterns, but it was just a false dawn.

On the bright side Hart was very good and besides almost putting it in his own net, so was Nastasic.
