Just back into Nanchester from the game & struggling to find one plus from the day. Atmosphere in our end was non existent not helped by a woeful showing on the pitch where we created next to nothing and seemed to have no urgency or ideas even as time ran out.
Zero atmosphere on train back but still the usual dickheads who thought it was ok to push two united fans who were in there 70's to the floor on Piccadilly approach calling them 'Munich *****'
Shocking day all round and I fear for us next Sunday cos anything like the last three performances we will get run off the park!!

Please tell me thats not true...

How can you not be sure why the defence is getting stick.???? If Stoke had scored any of the 3 tap ins we'd have lost. If they'd converted 75% of their chances we'd have been massacred.............

The way I look at it is, to win football matches you need to score goals, to score goals you need to take your chances, to take your chances you need to create chances, by all acoounts we've made 1 serious chance today.

Forgive me then, if I don't blame a makeshift defence for us not winning, our forward play has been woeful over the last 3 games, 2 of which were against promoted clubs.

No way I'm calling for the sack but look at Chelsea and how they've dealt with previous managers Scolari comes to mind. If its not working who's to say we won't get rid of him and before anyone says anything look how many trophies Chelsea have won, yes Abramovich is ruthless but it's worked. How long do you think Tixi etc will put up with what quite frankly is not what we were all sold on? If we play like this in CL we will grt fucked over and Pellegrini will be gone by New Year. I know people will say its only 4 games but I've seen absolutely nothing to suggest we will get better, it's just a blessing the rest of the premiership are shit at the moment otherwise by the end of October we would be top 6 at best.

what happens if we sack him, and the next manager doesnt get us to perform well. Do we sack him????

i dont think its healthy for the club to just keep sacking managers every few months.

Didn't expect to win today and would have been happy with the draw what I am not happy with his how the team look clueless and without a leader.

We need Kompany Back as soon as poss.

Damage limitation next week, we've been going backwards for two and a half years now. Players who perform not as well and less consistently being brought in. Jovetic is ordinary just like most of our forward players, Silva is hardly world class but he is our only hope.
Put all our eggs into the FA Cup because the Ruskies will be knocking us out of Europe at this rate.

Not if you have watched united this season, it could be one of the worst derbies for years if we both stay on our current form.

I'm struggling to come up with three performances in a row last year that were as poor as the last three. I don't rule out the possibility, and I'm all for giving Pelle time to sort things out, but apart from two or three games all season, I don't remember us looking so average against average teams in the Prem. Sure, we had some dodgy results, but in most of them we bossed the game and got hit on the break - the biggest frustration was that we couldn't convert territorial advantage into goals.

I'm at a loss as to why we have looked so average. Anyone who's ever watched Pellegrini's teams play with any regularity (judging by some of the halfwitted comments on the forum I don't think many have) will know we look nothing like his teams do. Lack of tempo, lack of movement off the ball. I'm left scratching my head to be honest. However one thing I'm certain about is that we will improve dramatically.

I think he dropped a couple of bollocks today in trying to rest Navas and Kun for the CL game. Milner was so poor and so anonymous it was frightening.

Memo to Pelli:

Always play your best team in the Premier League.

(unless Abu Dhabi are more interested in Global recognition rather than that of 'a small island no one listens to' as Mr Putin would put it)

The problem is that even if we had our best team out there today I am not so convinced we would have collected three points and or a far more " convincing draw ".

We are what you call a work in progress so far which means basically players playing well below their best both individually and collectively.

Whether we will be too far behind some of the other challengers before we set our stall out properly and the players perform to their ability remains to be seen.

There is no reason why this squad cannot go far in Europe and challenge seriously for the title , it doesn't have to be one or the other.

There is no doubt that this is the poorest start we have had in the last three campaigns perhaps four especially given the opposition played to date.

The performances against Cardiff, Stoke and Hull ( good result ) have been well below what you would expect and should be getting from this squad.

Newcastle was a good result and probably some of our best football to date flattered a bit by a one man advantage for 45 minutes.

Overall I am very disappointed with what we have dished up but not worried yet.

I agree the attack stinks.. but if we'd scored 2 then you'd think we'd win ....If they'd taken their chances it would have been at least 3-2 as per cardiff.
