Watched the Chelsea v Everton..game on BT Sports looked for all the world to be heading for a draw..then a wonder strike from Willian from 25 yards..89th minute..so City finally nail the hoodoo..but Chelsea nick the win..drama..twists and turns..bout time City won, we've been bloody rubbish for weeks..title race back on.. gap still 7 pts..!

You clearly are NOT a city fan despite thrying to use clever words that could lead one way or another. I said on the pre match thread that you had been sussed, but I will give it to you, you are persistent.

A City fan for umpteen years - yeah right.

A handful of posts either slagging City or upping the achievements of our rivals suggests even Sad Cafe might be bored with you.

Anyway, keep plugging away and when CL is confirmed out of reach, come and rejoice here with us all on BM. (or will you be back under your stone then)

They do seem to get a thrill from pretending to be Blue, you see it on other forums, media and phone ins.
They really have no balls to admit they are rags, perhaps it is something to do with struggling with puberty.

Well said. Hasn't woke up yet, or still in school. No doubt the smell will get stronger later

I wonder to what extent this phenomenon occurs elsewhere - i.e. do Tarquins routinely infiltrate Spuds' forums, etc? Or it it a particularly rag sort of behaviour?

I am sure it does happen elsewhere but it just seems so excessive here.

A big thanks yet again to Shady's blog site for providing links to streams.

I had a decent stream for 90 minutes (only breaking up a bit in the last 5 minutes). I always seem to get Trevor Francis as co-commentator and I honestly think he fucking hates us - even my young son could see that some of his comments were out of order. I know he didn't have a great time at City and I don't think he did much for us either (injuries etc.) and he was mates with Mancini but I was tempted to swirch to a stream with foreign commentary.

100% Correct. Francis has a very anti City agenda.

Francis is unbearable as a co-commentator. He really doesn't like us.

Can someone who was at the match last night - enlighten me as to what happened immediately after Milner's 'hand-ball' - Hart caught the ball - then the TV cuts to Crouch & the ref. Having - seemed to have weathered that chance - the TV suddenly cuts back to Stoke having possession.

Did Hart fcuk up and give the ball away?

Did we need that win or what!

First half an absolute shambols

Second as good as we have played all season

YaYa and Wilfred back for Newcastle and a few days rest and we are looking good

And did I mention a win at the Britannia, have I woke up in an alternative Universe

All in here please, just be happy everyone and lets hope a corner has been turned

Are we still fuckin' up corners. Turnin' 'em instead of crossin' 'em?

Did that Stokie get booked for dragging back David Silva? That's just as serious an infringement as the 'handball' for which Sergio was booked.

He mentioned during one home match a couple of seasons ago that before the game Mancini had invited him in for a glass of wine. Perhaps he misses his chum! Not sure why he hates us but he should be professional enough to be impartial during our games - some of his comments last night were embarassing.

Joe kicked the ball out of his hands. Arnautovic stuck his leg up and blocked it. The ref played on because he had his back to it. Linesman didn't overrule.

I enjoyed my rare away day watching City . We played like champions in that 2nd half .
Milner was fantastic last night .
Knackered today after getting home after mid night .
Wouldn't like to travel Stoke every other week .
Plus Manchester get that 50 zone sorted on the m62 .
It slows the journey even more .

Is it just a coincidence that recently when we have more than 50% of the ball the opposition, irrespective of their league position or even league, seem to draw or beat us. Conversely with less than 50% of the ball we win ?

As Stokes manager puts it they chased the game in the second half and we (ie Stoke) paid the penalty.

You can't counter attack if the other team doesn't attack. This unfortunately happens all the time at home as team after team park the bus and defend with their lives.

Another factor is for whatever reason our back 5 as a collective has been dogshit this year, we can't keep a clean sheet if our lives depended on it.
Exactly. Away, I think other teams will try to actually play which gives us the space to exploit them with our superior passing game. Milner's header is a perfect example of our superior passing game at its finest. In my opinion, Stoke was foolish to play us in an open game. We probably have a superior player in every position.

At the Etihad on the other hand, teams are parking a double decker, waiting for an errant pass, and hitting us on the counter. This can very frustrating to cope with. You can't pass your way through 10 defenders. Getting the ball in the air and taking some shots from distance can help but a really organized back 10 can be very tough to crack.
