Maybe it's me, but don't you reach an age where the penny drops that these big one offs are actually fucking miserable? Herded around like cattle and ripped off every which way.

Oasis, knebworth, 96 for me. The crowd singing spoilt it and the 7 mile walk after taught me a few home truths.

I saw one too many new order gigs, too, and realized watching old men doing karaoke versions of their songs in the distance actually sullies the memories.

I saw the roses the first time around at the hac and spike island. They were a shit live act then, in their prime.

I don't remember hearing Brown sing anything as he was out sung by the crowd.
I really enjoyed myself. Managed to get a bottle of vodka in and get a taxi on Victoria Ave back to NH.

I don't care how bad Browns voice is. The only Manc singer who can really sing is Hucknall. Would all you moaning about Browns voice rather go and watch Simply Red or the Stone Roses?

Anyone who said they was shite clearly is stuck in the 80's or need there heads testing.... They was amazing i though the instrumentals and for once ians "singing" was top notch, well worth the 55 i paid for my ticket

The stone Roses gig was far better than the Oasis gig at Heaton Park imo. But I wil say that Liam is a far better front man than Ian Brown.

I went Sat and Sun thought it was a fantastic gig one the best I have been to in over 30 years.

Certainly the best I have seen the Roses and I have seen them over 20 times.

Ians vocal process isn't the best, but it was good enough.

Fools Gold, Waterfall, Don't Stop, Resurrection were epic

Probably Oasis at Maine Road was better.

The Smiths at the Palace Theatre was a fantastic gig

Loads of great gigs at The Boardwalk and International.

I'm wondering how they managed to get Ian to sing in tune on the recordings to be honest. That's a different topic though. As far as the gig goes, hope everyone had a good time.
