Stone Roses tonight

can't believe anyone is moaning about Ian Brown's singing, it's like moaning about Gerry Creaney being shit at football or Alan Ball being a shit football manager, its hardly news! It must be the young lot who weren't around c 1990.

It's like complaining that you went to a Peter Kay show and all he did was shout 'Garlic Bread' .

Not going tonight as my knees fucked.

Doesn't seem like im missing much.

If you keep telling yourself that you might just be able to belive it, get the knee strapped up few pain killers and a few jars later you will be fine

Ive had a few jars and painkillers, went out for a pub scran with a fellow mooner and was limping and moaning like fuck.

Im out, gutted about it as i was looking forward to it, had to give the ticket to my brother.

For me it's about seeing the four of them back onstage together after all those years and to me it's the same about going watching city many moons ago..

In the sense of it's just about being there and seeing it and being part of it,yes we may have got beat every other week or browny may sing a few songs shkt but for me as a 38 year old going to see my band who got into my heart as a raw,shy and innocent 15 year old, this is the one i've been waiting for...

Roll on sunday..

Joey Barton has just tweeted he's off there 2nite. Someone give him a punch from me if you see him

How much was a cab back into town mate??

Also, any decent boozers around Heaton Park - I've never ventured that far North before!!

The Commercial, The Parkside, The Ostrich, on Bury Old Road, and the Woodthorpe on the corner of Sheepfoot lane and Bury Old Road.

Careful up there!! They eat chip muffins, the weirdos

We eat chip muffins correct ; )

A good few boozers around HP....they were all rammed yesterday!
The Beefeater on Middleton rd was charging £3.50p in and it was £4.50p for a pint of Bitter!!!
Ps North Manchester is wonderful x

Why bother to pay to go in? I could hear them from inside my house, which is at least 2 miles from Heaton Park (over 35 mins brisk walk). Just go in a local pub or sit on Heaton Park metro station for free.
Mine is less than a mile from the park and listened to Oasis from there when they were on. Unfortunately I'm working in Jersey this weekend but, on the upside, there's a two-day gig next to the hotel I'm in with Van Morrison & Lee "Scratch" Perry headlining tonight & Badly Drawn Boy & Ray Davies tomorrow.

Depending on how things are at work I may just get a ticket for Sunday.

So there's an empty at your house?? and we can listen in for nowt?? Address please, we'll leave it tidy...honest.
