Hey would've been. I'm about 12/13 miles away & I heard them. I was at the gig last night & don't remember them being so loud whilst there.

Id definitely recommend walking to town. We hung around towards the motorway on Middleton Road thinking we might get lucky with a taxi, we ended up being stranded for 2 hours. On the way to the gig we opted to walk it but managed to flag a taxi in Cheetham Hill, the trams and buses was chaos.

World class performance tonight, didn't disappoint in spite opt what's been written here - if you have a chance of a ticket tomorrow night you should go. I saw very few little tossers although I was stood on the bank a bit of a way back on the left with a great view and not one golden shower came my way - result

So you were stranded for two hours. if you had queued for a tram, they had cleared everyone who wanted to travel in just over two hours
