Again, too open. Jovetic utterly useless without Silva or Nasri in the side to link up with. I do not like any variation of 4-2-2-2 with no Silva or Nasri, it is awful. Doumbia is being made to look like a prime George Weah.

Thankfully, Pellegrini saw sense and mixed thinsg up second half, lets see the difference it makes bolstering our central area with more bodies and becoming more narrow rather than too expansive.

Navas, Clichy and Yaya (minus the free kick) all been atrocious. People slaughtered Caballero the other day, Hart has been made to look equally as useless and the blame lies at the door of yet again another backline change. We lack any consistency and understanding and ffs we are still leaving Fernando/Fernandinho out to dry by partnering with Yaya. As soon as the window opens a new LB is an absolute must, a world class one or a player who has youth on his side and on the cusp of being special.


AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH FFS, Brings Dzeko on when we needed to keep a 3 man midfield, further weakened by a Fernandinho red. No subs and no we have Yaya and Milner in a midfield pairing :(

I swear some of you are obsessed with this 4-4-2 shit...and it's all a big myth.

If 4-5-1 was SOLUTION TO EVERYTHING - noone would play 2 strikers...

4-5-1 is certainly not a solution for 75% of the starters having the mare of a season....whatever the fucking formation is!!!

We played 4-5-1 for a long stretch tonight - what the fuck did that bring us??

Just yet another myth...

I thought the plan was to play 4-3-3 from the top right through the Academy. So why are on earth have we stuck with it?

We conceded 2 against 10 men team with 3 men midfield...so dont think 4-4-2 was the problem of our poor form.

we didnt conced goals b/c of the formation - we conceded them b/c of individual mistake (in the first case) and luck (in the second).

At no point in the match were Bayern able to bypass our midfield or counter successfully. no vast open spaces for them to find joy in
