Stopping Smoking - Hypnosis

Some of the liquids in e-cigarettes used to contain diacetyl. This led to the idea that e-cigarettes might cause popcorn lung. In the UK, diacetyl was banned in e-cigarette liquids under the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) in 2016. So, e-liquids sold in the UK shouldn’t contain diacetyl.

And there have been no confirmed cases of popcorn lung linked to e-cigarettes.

It's bollocks
Very true! I believe it's something like 4000 times more likely to get popcorn lung from smoking (and I'd never even heard of it from smoking)......it was only ever brought up by a report, which funnily enough was financed by imperial tobacco....funny that ;)
If anyone thinks vaping is worse than smoking, then just admit you don't want to quit cigs as you are talking complete shite.

It's true, but a mid strength one worked for me,then cut it down, and then it became a case of this is a waste of time, although i still have and use it now and again.

But it has worked,as the smell of cigs these days I hate, and never thought i would ever say that
If using a smaller device (not one the size of a mobile phone) then start at 18% which is slightly less than 20 a day and gradually work down ;)
A side note....if you care about the environment, then don't touch the new disposable vape!
Not aimed at you meesh....just generally.

Absolutely. A few of the anti vape studies were funded by them as well I believe.

Quit and went in the ecigs but found them just as hard to quit and smoked it far more than cigarettes. Especially at the lower nicotine. But I guess it did help as quit altogther once gave that up. Not being in the pub during lockdown helped

I know people who did hypnosis and it defentily worked for them. One lad specifically asked to not include weed in the hypnosis and it worked so well he gave up cigs but not weed.

I've been on the vape for the last 4 years now. No choice after smoking for around 40 years and getting the first signs of COPD. I'm not that keen on vaping, but it stops me smoking. I had no intention of quitting initially..I do smoke some tobacco in my few evening spliffs, though. Sorry lungs.
My moan is about the new, disposable vapes.....they don't seem economically and ecologically sound, do they? Already littered everywhere....and kids love them!

I started by knocking the ones I didn't really need, I'd wake and reach straight for the packet, after a shower and then another with my brew, one on the way to work one with another brew before starting, so 5 first thing without thinking about it.

when I decided to give up I Knocked the Bed one first, then the one down to work and just carried on until I'd got myself to the point where I figured I didn't need to smoke anymore.

7years this year and never thought about picking up another.

Went to a vape, then patches, then lozenges, then gum. Then back to cigs.

But a copy of Allen Carr's Easyway. Not the unfunny speccy ****.I

Don't even think about it now. Do still enjoy the odd Cuban when I'm away though.
