Fuck sake!Still nothing, with an estimated power return of 5th February.
I have been flirting with the idea of purchasing a small generator. Imagine how smug you'd be now!
It's odd how that network is linked together, because my cousin in Castlebar, had to drive to her parents in Ballina for a hot shower, but on that graphic it says Ballina is down as well?
I'm in Castlebar right now, and it's fine. That's how I'm posting on here. Can't do it at home. No power, and no mobile network. It's odd how that network is linked together, because my cousin in Castlebar, had to drive to her parents in Ballina for a hot shower, but on that graphic it says Ballina is down as well?
Maybe it is all smaller rural lines that need to be fixed.
Was there twice in the summer. Had a sunday roast in the Ellison, then went back during the week and bought a catapult for my 14 year old cousin, in a shop that sold knives and air guns. My lads were pleading with me to get them a BB gun, but I didn't fancy going through customs with it. Bought some Mayo jerseys in the sports shop further up the town. The price of them is extortionate. No wonder people buy cheap knock offs from China.I'm in Castlebar right now, and it's fine. That's how I'm posting on here. Can't do it at home. From what I can gather, the NW in Blighty barely got touched.Wow I didn’t realise how bad it has been over in Ireland (or as the BBC insist on calling it the Island of Ireland).
Sorry for your trouble Irish BlueMooners and hope it gets sorted soon. :-)
Our electricity in the rural parts of Ireland is still largely reliant on the on potatoe crop so when the wind blew away all our potatoes it left many on the without kettles, playstations and phone chargers. A national emmergency would already have been enforced if they hadn't recently been modernized and moved away from legacy donkey drawn power. Brits Out!Wow I didn’t realise how bad it has been over in Ireland (or as the BBC insist on calling it the Island of Ireland).
