Strange/Indirect claims to fame

Many years ago Lee Remick, the beautiful actress in 'The Omen' knocked on my dads door, when I was there and enquired about buying the house next door as the owner wasn't home.
I asked her 'Are you Lee Remick?' She gave me a lovely smile, nodded and got back into her car (she wasn't driving it must have been a chauffeur).
 
Emille Hesky owes me £1. And he does!
When he played for Wigan he and a few other players used to come into the JJB gym next to the ground for a light work out / warm up a few hours before a game.
I was getting getting changed one Sunday and Hesky and a few other players came in and also started to get changed. The lockers required a £1 coin to lock them. Hesky didn't have any cash on him and the other players didn't have any change. So the cheeky bugger asked me if I could lend him a £1 quid for the locker! Like a mug I did. I then went off into the gym to do my stuff.
When I had finished and came back into the changing rooms Hesky and his mates had changed, packed up and gone and he took my £1 quid coin with him!!
Hence my claim to fame is that Emille hesky owes me a quid!!!
 
Iv'e got another one!
When I played for Openshaw Lads Club / Crossley House I played against a player named Carl Valentine (I think he played for Clayton Cross but not sure). Basically he ripped me apart, took the mickey out of me all game and he scored a hat trick that day.

He went on to better things playing for Oldham, West Brom and Vancouver White Caps. I got a job working on a plastic injenction moulding machine at Sharna Ware in Droylsden!
A few years later I bumped into him in a hotel in West Bromwich when he was there with the full squad before a game. I went over to him, introduced myself and told him my story. He actually claimed he remembered the game where he murdered me and we had a good laugh about it. Decent guy to be fair.
 
Just remembered this one...

I once used to work with Jamie Tandy's sister and also the sister in law of a current Norwich City footballer (different job)

Back in 1987/88 I used to dj with Carl Cox sunday nights at the Hove Park Tavern Hove sussex..
