Straw poll - are you a Hughes inner or a Hughes outer?

IN!

We might not Have won as many as we would like but we just need one win (hopefully Hull) to sort that out IMO, and nobody can deny that Hughes has made us one of the toughest, if not the toughest team in the league to beat.

Give the man time. When we are looking back in a few seasons time, 1st in the league, Kolo lifting the Premier league title while the rags are crying tears of anguish onto their soggy prawn sandwiches, then you'll be happy we stuck with one of the brightest young managers in the game. And i have a sneaking suspision that most of the Hughes doubters will claim they where behind him all the way.

it very hard trying to weigh up the pro`s and con`s of a manager lots of variables come into the equation. but in my opinion we are under performing. 8 points out of a possible 24 before todays game is not what i expect of a top 6 material club.
also i hardly think the teams we beat in the first five games got a mauling off us.

Sorry not meaning the ardent outers don't go. I can't criticise anyone for not going! I watch every game on telly from about as far away as I could be!

More commenting that on match day is when the most ardent hughes outers come out and the vitriol against him and the team is a sight to see!

Out................if we get the chance to sign a better manager!
In..................if nobody better is available

Afterall isn't that the way you run any buisness?.......if you get the chance to improve or get better you take it?

(Only my opinion)

Are you seriously suggesting that you are unsure as to whether the richest club in the world, in possession of some wonderful players, a good stadium, wonderful owners and a high profile, might not be able to attract a manager that is better than Mark Hughes?

Given that there is nothing at all - absolutely nothing - to suggest that Hughes is anywhere near the top tier of world football managers, then I would suggest that it is a 100% certainty that, whenever the job became availble, we would be able to attract at least one better manager. That doesn't mean that they would definitely appoint a better manager - but there is no doubt at all that Mark Hughes is not the pinnicle of managers who would be interested in managing this club under current circumstances. In fact, I'd suggest, based on recent and past acheivements, he'd be well down in the pack.

Oh yeah, out, for me.

18 months of constant underacheivement, with the only running theme of his tenure being taking players and making them produce performances that are generally way below the sum of their parts. Still not seen an argument that disputes or reputes this fact - just a load of cliches and people, possibly correctly, assuming that any old manager could throw 200m at a team and eventually get it right. They are probably correct about that, but why settle for someone whose only constant during his time here has been underacheivement.

(well, there's long ball , that's been pretty regular and constant too. Oh, and constant blame shifting. Oh, and constantly being unable to establish working relationships with players or staff he hasn't appointed personally. Yeah, but apart from all those running themes, the only constant has been making teams play way below the sum of their parts)

Where exactly did i say i was unsure whether we could get a better manager than Hughes?

If and when the chance comes to sign a better manager we should take it whether Hughes is in the seat or not.......

Out,and the sooner the better for the club.

Hughes was never more than an average manager, certainly in my opinion the worse we have ever had, and that includes Ball and Bond.

The stability argument is just plain daft, a wrong un is a wrong un no matter how long you wait, and for those that claim to see improvment I ask where?, all numpty has done is build a Blackburn in blue with a higher quality ( or in some cases just more expencive) player.

I support the team and the club, not hughes.
