TBH cyber i could've put a lot of sources, i just put that one as it had the biggest picture.
I dont honestly have much time for many leaders of trade unions ,but fully respect the shop stewards but even Bob Crowe is allowed to celebrate his birthday go on a cruise & drink champers what sort of none story is this .no one gives a shit what the Prime minister & all the other hanger oners drink & eat & he is certainly bringing the country to its knees

Hahahaha! My brother is the same! He will never i mean ever give someone a job, if they have had any time off, in their previous employment. The cheeky twat drove to glasgow once from edinburgh to check if a girl was in the hospital with swine flu! She wasn't and was promptly jobless!

My wife would go to work with her arm hanging off, she has NEVER had a day's sick in her life! (fucking sad i know)
Me on the other hand, i'm posting this, with a glass of sancerre to my right, while my lads work in the rain at broadbottom, as i have a headache. (i lie about the headache)

pardon my ignorance, why is it that its allways postmen, air traffic, teachers and fireman that shrike.why dont we hear of milkmen, semi skilled people, minimum wages e.t.c strike. guess the first have had it a bit easier in my opinion...

In 2002, when Crow took charge of the RMT, his basic pay was less than £60,000. In 2009, the most recent year available, his salary had risen to £94,747. But his overall package, including pension contributions, travel costs and expenses, topped £145,000.
Small wonder, then, that he can afford to patronise such exclusive establishments as Scott’s in Mayfair (which counts Prince William, Madonna, Sir Michael Caine and Cheryl Cole among its clientele and serves Beluga Caviar for £296 per 50 grams).
Mr Crow — in rare collar, tie and suit with his green union badge brazenly on display on his lapel — and four Left-wing colleagues were spotted dining at the restaurant this week when they quaffed ‘bubbly’ from crystal glasses — traditional champagne saucers — and knocked back bottles of Morgassi Superiore 2009 Piedmont at £39 a time.
During the three-hour lunch, to celebrate Mr Crow’s 50th birthday, one of the group was overheard joking about the RMT’s ‘Wimbledon’ strike plans. He is alleged to have said: ‘Who would want to go there? The price they charge for strawberries and cream is ******* robbery.’ And the tab for Mr Crow’s bash? A ‘mere’ £650

As much as he might be a twat

he's allowed to celebrate his 50th birthday however he pleases

our company spend more on them sort of lunches daily

cyber looks like your on your own here!

unions years ago may have had a slight respect from the masses, not now!

I have been to a no. of union officials houses over the last few years because i fix boilers. Let me tell you they ALL live in grand houses in places like Worsley, Knutsford and the like! never met one in a council house!

They remind me of that tit two jags prescott! The "working mans champion" who lives like a king, gets elocution lessons, is a millionaire, accepts a gong and a place in the house of lords!!! what a knob! he's a wannabe lord!

When there is a strike do the union men suffer...no! they still take exorbitant wages from their detested members !

Do they care if they force a business under because of unreasonable demands?...no...because when the business goes to the ground its a minor irritation, a few less members but their fat cat salaries are still growing!

Do yourself a favour, look at how much these fat cat union leaders are on and tell me that s right!

Good on your mrs tttyboy! the scabs are the unions!

Yes he can spend his 50th how he likes, but it is the hypocrisy of it all. I spoke with a lad who went to a RMT get together in london. All the delegates were put up in premier inns and travel lodges and took to the venue in mini buses, mr crow however stayed in a hotel in park lane, with his missus. Now that's slumming it, on union members dues isn't it?

meh.
